Jennifer Clark joins Propeller from a small business/start up background, getting her start at a local golf club in Westchester, NY and getting involved in accounting by chance. Working with P&Ls for the many events held there, she worked closely with the accounting team and enjoyed getting to know and understand the workings of the business. Once a position opened up, she was offered the opportunity, and began her career in accounting.
Prior to Propeller, she was at Blueprint NYC, a small production firm where she worked side by side with the Controller and gained invaluable knowledge of the ebbs and flows of a startup business. Small businesses provide a unique opportunity to wear a lot of hats and cultivate lasting friendships with the people you built something great with. The opportunity Propeller presented to work with a wide variety of up and coming companies was too good to pass up.
Jennifer graduated from Suffolk University in Boston with a BA in History, which she remains passionate about. She loves reading anything history, traveling the world with the aim of learning as much as she can about history and culture(and maybe a little relaxing too). She also loves spending time with her family, cooking, wine, exploring NYC with her husband Tyler, and running along the promenade by her apartment in Queens.
