Cara Chrisman comes to Propeller with 17 years of professional experience in accounting and small business management and a passion for theater and the performing arts.
Recently, Cara worked for the production company BiteSize Network as Accountant/Manager. Prior to this, Cara worked for Theatre Bay Area in San Francisco for over 14 years as Ticketing Services Director she managed the discount ticket booth, TIX Bay Area in Union Square, for 9 years. Using her experience with IT and ticketing systems, she expanded the business from a brick and mortar location to online ticketing and established many partnerships with neighboring businesses. For the next 5 years, Cara was the Deputy Director, Operations and Finance, where she responsible for the financial and business operations of the organization and its many programs, both local and national.
Originally from the east suburbs of Detroit, MI, Cara moved to Miami Shores, FL to attend Barry University where she received her B.A. in Theatre Management. She worked for several theatres in Florida before moving to San Francisco. She recently earned her MBA– accounting concentration at Golden Gate University. In her free time she likes to go to the theatre, cook, read, travel and do jigsaw puzzles.
