Sharon Heimowitz is the Senior Vice President of People and Culture at Propeller Industries. Sharon is responsible for spearheading the development and execution of strategic initiatives that drive organizational culture, employee engagement, and talent management and is the interim Head of Information Technology. She also serves on the Executive Leadership Team.
Sharon is a passionate people focused executive with more than 30 years of experience in human resources and organizational development and a focus on aligning people strategies with business goals. Sharon brings in-depth experience and innovative approaches to employee relations and employee development and is committed to building a thriving and resilient organizational culture. Prior to joining Propeller Industries, Sharon was the Senior Director of People at Cobalt.io where she built and led a global People and Talent team. Sharon was also the former Director of Global Human Resources at SeaCube Containers and Global HR Lead at Nuvolo, a premier ServiceNow partner where she successfully led initiatives that significantly enhanced workforce performance and satisfaction. Sharon holds an MBA from Boston University in Organizational Development and a BA from Clark University in Organizational Development.
During her career, Sharon has considered it a privilege to be able to share her expertise and “pay it forward” to recent graduates and workforce returnees who are conducting job searches. She has donated her time teaching others the art of resume writing, interviewing skills, building an online profile, and networking for job opportunities and takes great joy in watching others succeed.
