Jennifer Paynter

Operations Manager

Jennifer Paynter has 15 years of professional experience in accounting and small business management. After 3 years with Propeller, Jen recently transitioned from an Account Manager and Onboarding Specialist to Internal Operations Manager.

Prior to Propeller Jen was a Staff Accountant at The San Francisco Ballet where she managed all accounts receivable and payroll processing. Prior to this, she was the Controller and Chief Administrative Officer at Vetrazzo, a start-up manufacturing company. At Vetrazzo, she handled all day-to-day accounting, inventory management, payroll, HR, and closing procedures, in addition to many daily operational items. Prior to this, she spent several years working in property management with Madison Marquette in the Bay Area as the assistant general manager and accountant and in publishing with Simon & Schuster in New York City. She was also a Stage Manager for three years in off-broadway productions in New York.

Jen received her B.A. in Theatre Arts from San Jose State University. Jen spends a lot of her free time fixing up her 80+ year old house. She loves reading fantasy/sci-fi books, and is a slave to her rather demanding cats.
