Jeff Gustafson is a CFO with over 20 years of professional experience in finance and accounting, as a company executive, investment banker, principal investor, consultant, CPA and securities regulator. He is currently a Partner with Propeller Industries.
Prior to Propeller, Jeff was the CFO of Vetrazzo, a manufacturer of recycled glass surfaces, where he co-founded, built and successfully sold the company to the largest North American integrated stone producer. Prior to this, he was a Vice President in Investment Banking at JPMorgan (and Hambrecht & Quist, a predecessor entity). While at JPMorgan, Jeff completed private and public transactions, and sponsored venture investments for more than 50 companies primarily in the technology, healthcare, manufacturing, consumer, media and services industries. Before joining JPMorgan, Jeff was a Senior Consultant with Coopers & Lybrand’s Financial Advisory Services Group where he specialized in business valuations and mergers and acquisitions. He also worked in the Office of Enforcement at the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Jeff received a B.A. (magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa) in Economics and Business from the University of California, Los Angeles and an M.B.A. from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (inactive). Jeff is a volunteer Business Advisor at Pacific Community Ventures and serves on the board of SFMade. When he’s not working or volunteering, he can often be found at the ballpark or reading on a tropical beach.
