Jeanine Lee brings more than 10 years of experience in accounting and small business management with a passion for startups and innovative entrepreneurship. She is currently an Account Manager at Propeller Industries where she enjoys the diversity of Propeller’s client base.
Prior to joining Propeller, Jeanine worked as the Accounting Manager for the MandMarblestone Group, a legal and consulting firm specializing in the design and administration of qualified retirement plans. Prior to this, she ran her own accounting services consultancy specializing in working with startups with a focus on innovation and social responsibility.
Jeanine developed her passion for entrepreneurship around 2001 while co-founding a street culture magazine which documented the subcultures of early hip hop influence. As Editor-in-Chief, she experimented with connecting the dots between this pop culture and its early roots in art, dance, fashion and social change.
Jeanine spent her undergrad years in Philadelphia at Temple University’s College of Engineering where she majored in Mechanical Engineering, and remains passionate about technology and design. She enjoys community service and currently serves as the Treasurer of the Board of Directors at both Bike & Build (organizing cross-country cycling trips to benefit affordable housing projects) and Power Up Gambia (providing reliable electricity and water to healthcare facilities in The Gambia through solar energy installations). In her free time, Jeanine enjoys making a fool of herself amongst friends, working on handsewn leather projects and musing over music, design and technology.
