Clare Launder is an accounting professional with extensive experience in the public and private sectors, from working with small organizations such as Able Lending, to large industry leaders, such as the Department of Health and Human Services.
Her career began as a senior finance officer for a Washington D.C. based think tank before transitioning to a senior role at Ernst & Young working with industry powerhouses including Lockheed Martin, Avalon Bay Communities, and the Department of Health and Human Services.
After E&Y, Clare’s interest in developing experience in the financial services sector took her to Austin, TX to lead as a senior fund accountant at Dimensional Fund Advisors. After spending two years at Dimensional, Clare joined Able, a small business lending startup as an underwriter, responsible for assessing the financial health and risk of small businesses.
Born and raised in Baltimore, Clare holds a bachelor’s in economics from Boston College and a master’s in accounting from George Washington University.
