Aaron comes to Propeller with over a decade of work experience that spans start-ups, non-profit and private equity. Most recently, Aaron served as Finance Manager of venture capital firm Sail Capital Partners in Southern California, where he was responsible for the preparation of year-end financials, portfolio company valuations, SEC filings, investor reports, and the firm’s operating budget.
Previous to Sail, Aaron worked for the start-up, Women’s Professional Soccer, in San Francisco, where he served as League Operations Manager, maintaining the league’s oversight of team ticket sales, game execution, and management of accounts payables & receivables. Aaron also served as a Senior District Executive with the Boy Scouts of America, where he was responsible for fundraising, membership growth, volunteer recruitment and the budgeting and fiscal oversight of the district. He was awarded the Chief Scout Executive’s Winners’ Circle “Above & Beyond” recognition for exceeding all membership and fundraising goals.
Aaron earned a B.S in Business Administration from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo, and an M.B.A from Tulane University in New Orleans. Aaron has a passion for energy, entrepreneurship and the environment. An Eagle Scout, Aaron is committed to conservation and previously served as a volunteer for the National Parks Service in New Orleans. He enjoys long walks, intense road trips, sites of historic significance and grilling.
